Firmament is a small shop starting out in the US Pacific Northwest.
Wood is a very special category of materials, sometimes described as a “natural composite”. We appreciate its beauty and renewability, and we specialize in projects which showcase the benefits of wood.
We consider the universal use of plastics in the modern world, especially for packaging and other “disposable” applications, as a harmful and irresponsible trend. It is our commitment to avoid using plastic materials in applications where an alternative exists.
In the long term, we hope to see a revival of American manufacturing, and are thus committed to doing what we can to enable this. Our intent is to support domestic suppliers as much as possible.
